Dr. Reg Morais knows about God's healing power. Having been diagnosed with autism, Asperger's syndrome and obsessive-compulsive disorder in the early years of his life, he experienced a miraculous healing. And He knows God continues to perform miracles—including the supernatural healing of a man in his church.
"Someone had been told they have got complete cancer; they are riddled with cancer in the entire physical body," Morais tells Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of the Greenelines podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. "This was eight months ago, and the whole family came and started to break down and cry. This was in my own church.
"And on one night, the Holy Spirit said to me, 'Come, let Me take you where you need to see and whom you have to see," Morais says. "Again, I was presented right in front, face to face with Jesus. And I remember mentioning to Jesus, 'My Lord, this man, John, he has been in my church for a long time. And his wife is not willing to let him go. His children are not willing to let him go. I was wondering, is there any possibility that you could increase his life right at this moment, because I do not want you to take him away?"
At this point in the conversation, Morais says it worked as it has in other times he and the Lord have negotiated over an individual's life. In this case, after his request that God give the man some more years of life, God said, "Yes, I'll give it to you." So when he returned from his encounter with the Lord, Morais went to visit the family.

"I told this gentleman, 'John, I want you to go and do another MRI or an x-ray test, making sure that the cancer is no longer there,'" Morais says.
"Then the man says, 'Ah, Reg, you already know that I've got cancer; I've only got six months to live.'
"I had to then challenge him and say, 'Just do it one more time, not for me, but for my Lord Jesus.'
"This man actually went back to doctors, and they checked him three times," Morais says. "And they said, 'That cancer is no longer in your physical body.'"
