Trust me, God wants your attention.
Sure, there are different seasons in a marriage. But if unaddressed, that feeling of disconnection can grow.
"We need to wake up."
I see so many people who make decisions such as deciding to lose weight, but they have no motivation for the work it will take to do what they think they want to do.
When God wants to get our attention, it always means He is brewing something good. So what good is there in waiting?
Because we are all fallible and prone to shortcomings, there are times when we need to be confronted by the person closest to us, which should be our spouse. Tradition has given this right to the husband, but not to the wife.
We release our faith by the words we speak.
Mountains often seem to get in the way of advancement or of walking into one's destiny.
"The Lord was gracious and heard the desire of our hearts."
In our times, there are lots of reasons to feel overwhelmed and fearful. But here's hope.
"And I think that's where the peace trumps the disappointment, because I knew in my spirit I was doing the right thing. I knew I was being obedient."
When the mess became too much, I grew aware of what I was missing.
Two people accepted Christ after Tim's death, including his girlfriend. She was baptized in the very church Tim was raised in.
Galatians 5:16 (TPT) encourages us, "As you yield freely and fully to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit, you will abandon the cravings of your self-life."
Mallary Hope says her song "Walking With the Light" was under spiritual attack.
"Did I keep my heart pure for nothing? Did I keep myself innocent for no reason?" (Ps. 73:13, NLT).
The problem comes when our definition of blessing doesn't align with God's.
