If we could see the whole path, our focus would be on the path ahead and not on the one next step and our moment-by-moment dependence on following God's leadership.
"Sunday night was the last set I will lead before we move, and I was sent out with blessing and prophecy and flowers. I am reminded once more how lavishly God honors our obedience."
"I had major slippery grace for myself because I knew He loved me deep down. And I knew somehow that out of every mess I made in my life, being a prostitute, that He'd forgive me."
"Allow Me to exchange My beauty for your ashes. Give to Me all your disappointments and hurts, all that pain and suffering I bore upon My body so you could be free from it."
Once again. the Lord reminded me of how important it is not to become "familiar" with Scripture. The Scripture is always giving birth to revelation of the Word that takes us deeper in Him.
As King Solomon said, "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? See, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less can this house that I have built?" (1 Kings 8:27).
Even though He was innocent, the people falsely accused Him; they mocked and spit on Him, bruised and broke His body. And yet He chose to do what's right.
