Many can recite facts about Jesus—much like many can recite facts about their favorite celebrities. However, knowing about someone does not equate to knowing them personally.
One small phrase from her pastor changed this woman's perspective.
"What He has in store for us may or may not be what you hope for or expect," Bowman says. "Regardless, His love and goodness are always present."
Some Christians say, or at least give the impression, that "good" believers don't ask such questions.

Because of grace, no one needs to be hopeless, including our kids.
Sadly, no place is considered safe today, including churches, synagogues and other religious gathering places. And no one seems worthy of our trust.

If victory were as simple as going out there and walking a clear, unhindered path, 99% of Christians would live victorious lives.
"The pain makes you question what you ultimately believe. And for me, the Lord was was really challenging me with the question, did I really believe that He was good?"

When you feel like you're in over your head—when the pressure is so great you feel like you're drowning—where is God?
The only way we become winners is by carrying the banner of victory as we allow God to fight for us.
He stands in the gap for you and your loved ones daily.
God is eager, waiting and willing to tell us who we are. To approve us.
God placed us in physical bodies and told us we are to take care of them to make them temples to house His Holy Spirit.
You receive by faith, but just like anything else, you need to put your faith into action.
