"And the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. And His voice was like a noise of many waters. And the earth shone with His glory" (Ezek. 43:2, MEV).
Do you know that God wants to use your voice? God has created man with tremendous power, even apart from Him people have the power to influence and change things. How much more does God want His own people to realize the power that He has not only created them with but also that though the power of His Spirit we have been equipped in a superior fashion.
In this passage, Ezekiel describes the voice of God as being like "the sound of many waters." I want to make a connection here between these waters of God's voice and the waters that Jesus speaks about in the "woman at the well" passage. Jesus tells the woman that if she only knew who she was speaking to that she would ask for "living water" and that this water would flow out like rivers.
Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water" (John 4:10, MEV).
Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). This is a statement that we need to understand. Looking at this from the angle of living waters, water that is alive, greater are the living waters within us. God is much greater than any other power and He dwells inside of us through the living substance of His Spirit. Just by the sheer indwelling of His Presence, this living river is able to be released through us. Through our voice we release a sound that embodies the "many waters" of God's voice and presence. God has given us the ability to speak, to create life and release His unrelenting river of life.
Recently I saw a heavenly vision where God was putting beautiful shiny golden trumpet in the mouth of a person. Gold represents purity and the trumpet is the power of the prophetic voice. This was a most beautiful shiny trumpet that had a sound that could cut through any atmosphere. In the same way that light cuts through darkness so this sound was the "sound of God's light" bring released.
"After this I looked. And there was an open door in heaven. The first voice I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this" (Rev. 4:1, MEV).
Trumpets have a voice in heaven. God has made us trumpets to release His voice in the earth as well. We need to know that the enemy hates nothing more than when the voice of God is released through His people in the earth. God inhabits us and His voice is released through you and me.
Another point in this vision that I saw was "God turning this trumpet around" as He placed it in the mouth of this person. This represented a "turning around" of the prophetic. There was something new and fresh about it. I love the scripture where God talks about the new thing He is doing asking the question, "will you know it when He does it?"
"See, I will do a new thing,
now it shall spring forth; shall you not be aware of it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:19, MEV).
We need to know it! God is turning things around in this season. These are new trumpets. God is raising up new pure prophetic voices that will not compromise to the spirit of the world. We have heard it said that you cannot tell the difference between the church and the world. There is some truth to this. But there will always be "impostors" that have the right label with the wrong contents. Yet God is, right now, releasing and will be releasing a prophetic sound in the earth that all of heaven will stand attention to because it will be distinct, clean, crisp an crystal clear sound rallying all of heaven's resources for this end time revival.
One more detail in this vision I noticed was seeing the trumpet aimed upward or heavenward. This indicating the summoning of heaven's armies as well as a cutting through and a blowing out of the second heaven. This would be as if to clear the atmosphere of cities and nations for revival presence.
"The Spirit of God has made me,
And the breath of the Almighty gives me life" (Job 33:4, MEV).
Today you need to know that you have a voice that matters. As those who are inhabited by God and filled with His breath, we have the power to change things. The breath of His Spirit is true spiritual weight that transforms atmospheres, situations and lives. Use your voice to release the truth, life, blessing and freedom in lives as you "give voice" to God's Word and the spontaneous prophetic utterances of His Spirit.
